On Thursday, 25th September 2025, Attorney Saing Vannak,President of the National Committee of Cambodia ASEAN Law Association, and the President of the Bar Association of Cambodia (BAKC), appointed Attorney Iv Poly, head of the Standing Committee on Legal Education and Attorney ChhumMonysocheata, member of the Standing Committee on Legal Education of the National Committee of Cambodia ASEAN Law Association to attend the ASEAN Law Association (ALA) inaugural lecture series in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The event also included the first lecture on “Gender Justice and Legal Pluralism in ASEAN” and a banquet to launch the Standing Committee for Women in Law.
It should be noted that Cambodia’s participation in this event is in accordance with the invitation of the President of the ASEAN Law Association, Her Excellency Tun TengkuMaimun binti Tuan Mat, during her working visit to Cambodia in April 2025.
